4 leveranciers zijn geselecteerd om samen met Afrikaanse ondernemers innovatieve ideeën uit te werken in Ghana, Ivoorkust, Marokko en Uganda. De ondernemers gaan de komende 4 maanden in kaart brengen welke expertise kan helpen om de Afrikaanse innovatieve ideeën verder uit te werken in een vervolgtraject met Nederlandse ondernemers. De leveranciers ontvangen een budget van gemiddeld € 30.000 per project.

Orange Sparks - Co-creating Market-Ready Innovations with African Entrepreneurs – Orange Sparks B.V.
The Orange Sparks methodology aims to encourage Ghanaian entrepreneurs to create innovative solutions for local challenges through the SBIR program. In a six-step programme, entrepreneurs develop their innovation concepts summarized in a business plan, used by RVO to matchmake with Dutch entrepreneurs for collaboration in an innovation partnership. The Orange Sparks methodology is scalable to other developing markets and aims to establish innovation partnerships between Developing Market and Dutch entrepreneurs. Orange Sparks contributes to SDG 8 and 13 by promoting sustainable economic growth, creating decent work opportunities, and reducing negative environmental impacts.

This company aims to develop a method where we can facilitate entrepreneurs in creating innovative concepts. They start from their existing venture process, which they have used over the past 10 years to build companies. The company will transform this venture process into an innovation methodology that is widely applicable in Morocco. We work with TheRockGroup, which has similar experiences but in other sectors. We want to achieve our goal using the methodology, a local embedding study, and during the testing of the methodology with the entrepreneurs, where we will offer first insights into their follow-up processes.

Unleashing Innovation through the Use of Design thinking & collaboration for Ugandan Entrepreneurs – DIG (Design Innovation Group B.V.)
Design thinking (DT) methodology can drive entrepreneurship and spur innovation among local entrepreneurs in Uganda. The project seeks to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and resources to develop their innovative ideas, focusing on creating marketable innovations with social impact. The company uses DT training, coaching, technical support, peer-to-peer exchange, and cutting-edge tools to unlock the full potential of entrepreneurs in Uganda. The outcome will be the creation of eight innovation concepts shared with Dutch entrepreneurs for matchmaking. Additionally, The company will advise on how to facilitate matchmaking in the future and scale the methodology.
